NOVEMBER 1 – TRADITIONAL USES OF PUBLIC LANDS: VIEWS FROM THE PAST, PRESENT AND INTO THE FUTURE – DIANA HAWKS

Diana Hawks, retired Arizona Strip BLM archaeologist and land use planner, will present information about the traditional changing uses of public lands in the dessert Southwest over the last few millennia. She will look at the potential future uses of public lands and resources in Southwestern Utah and Northwestern Arizona and invite the audience to seek local solutions about the future communal uses of public lands and resources.
