JANUARY 23 – THREE RIVERS CONFLUENCE / PAH TEMPE / LA VERKIN OVERLOOK
Confluence Park has a long and storied history. Evidence of Anasazi inhabitants, Native Americans, 16th Century explorers, and 19th Century pioneers can be seen and felt. Often praised for is cultural and historic value, Confluence Park also is home to a broad spectrum of wildlife species. This field trip will depart from the Public Lands Information Center at 9:00 am

FEBRUARY 27 – GOLD BUTTE NATIONAL MONUMENT / FALLING MAN PETROGLYPH SITE
Gold Butte National Monument covers nearly 300,000 acres of remote and rugged desert landscape in southeastern Nevada and the “Falling Man Petroglyph” is just a teaser to the many, stunning rock art sites in area. We will take in the “Rabbit Ears” and “Calvin’s Rock” sites as we hike into the area and as time allows visit “Newspaper Rock” and the “21 Goat Panel” as well. MARCH 26 – MOUNTAIN MEADOWS NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE / BAKER DAM RESERVOIR
The Mountain Meadows Massacre National Historic Landmark is located approximately 40 minutes north of St George on State Route 18. It includes several different monuments and memorials all clustered within about a 2-mile radius. Baker Dam Reservoir is located at the foot of the towering Pine Valley Mountains, the area offers slightly cooler temperatures and a quick getaway from St George and other lower elevation communities.
