NOV 16 – MATT RICH – JACOB LAKE LODGE AND THE STORIES THAT GO WITH IT

When Harold and Nina N. Bowman established Jacob Lake Inn in 1923, their families had been involved in the exploration and settling of much of southern Utah and the Arizona Strip. They started a business selling gas from a fifty-gallon barrel in the back of a truck and the first lodge was built a year later. As more people traveled to see the Grand Canyon North Rim, Jacob Lake Inn’s reputation for hospitality, good food and great stories began to grow.
