Clover Valley, Barclay/Pioche, NV Field Trip

Pioche is an old town by western standards, with many of the buildings predating the turn of the 19th century. Boot Hill, the million-dollar courthouse, the Thompson Opera House, and the town museum are must stops.

Clover Valley is a remote valley settled by families from southern Utah, with a charming restored school house.

Important Note Regarding Registration to Participate in Field Trips

Due to limited group size and high demand, you must register to participate in field trips. Sign up begins one month prior to each trip at approximately 1:10 p.m. on each Friday at the conclusion of the Brown Bag lecture. Participants must provide their own vehicles and fuel.  Many trips will require a high clearance vehicle and four-wheel drive capacity. Lunch is provided by DASIA for a cost of $10 per person.
